Bearing play
1. Raise the machine off the ground and secure it to safety stands in appropriate locations.
2. Remove the wheels» then install the wheel nuts.
3. Attach the dial gauge as shown.
4. Measure the bearing play by moving the discs in and out.

5. If the bearing end play measurement is greater than the standard, replace the wheel bearing.
Wheel runout
1. Raise the machine off the ground and secure it on safe stands in appropriate locations.
2. Check for bent or damaged wheels.
3. Attach the dial gauge as shown.
4. Measure the wheel runout by turning the wheel.
Axial runout of front and rear wheels:
Standard:
- Steel wheel: 0-1.0mm
- Aluminum wheel: 0-0.7mm
- Operational values: 2.0 mm
Radial runout of front and rear wheels:
Standard:
- Steel wheel: 0-1.0mm
- Aluminum wheel: 0-0.7mm
- Operational values: 1-5 mm
5. If the wheel runout exceeds the operating values, replace the wheel.
