2. Jack up the rear of the car. Place panels the same thickness as the swivel stand under the rear wheels, then lower the car.
Note: For accurate readings, the machine must be level.
3. Turn the wheel right and left with the brake on and measure the turning angle of both wheels.
Rotating Angle:
Inner wheel:
- 39°50’
- 35°50’ (engines V16A2, V16A4, V16A6)
Outer wheel:
- 33°10’,30°50’
4. If measurements are not within specification, react by turning the tie rods.
Note: After adjustment, check the toe angle of the front wheels and adjust if necessary. Reposition the tie rod boot if it is twisted or dislodged.
