Inspection
1. Center the steering wheel.
Note: measure the difference in toe angle with the steering wheel in a strictly straight position.
2. Check the toe angle of the front wheels.
Front wheel toe angle.
All models 1992-95 release and five-door models 1995-98. release:
- 0°± 20' or 0±2 mm
Three- and four-door models 1996-98 release:
- 0°10'±201 or 1±2 mm
- If adjustment is required, follow step 3.
- If adjustment is not required, remove the equipment.
Adjustment
3. Loosen the tie rod locknuts and turn both tie rods in the same direction until the front wheels are straight.
4. Turn both tie rods simultaneously until the toe angle reading on the turntable is correct.
5. After adjustment, tighten the tie rod locknuts.
