Caution: To avoid damage to transmission components, partial towing (lifting only one axle of the vehicle) is prohibited for 4WD models. 4WD models have automatically engaged all-wheel drive.
The rear axle is connected using a clutch installed in front of the rear reduction gear. The rear axle is connected if the rotation speed of the cardan shaft differs from the rotation speed of the rear axle reduction gear shaft (for example, when one of the front wheels slips). However, it should be taken into account that the rear axle subordination clutch does not provide 100% power transmission and the clutch is activated with a slight time delay.
Caution: It is prohibited to use forced connection of the rear axle in the following cases:
- when driving on dry roads;
- when driving at a speed of more than 80 km/h;
- when installing wheels of different sizes (for example, spare tires), in emergency situations.
Attention:
- When replacing tires (wheel rims), use only tires (wheel rims) of the same size and design as the recommended tires (wheel rims) for your vehicle and with the same or greater load capacity. Using a tire (wheel rim) of any other size or type may seriously affect the vehicle's handling.
- Fit tyres of the same size, same manufacturer, same type and same basic tread pattern on all 4 wheels.
- When using winter tires, also install tires of the same specified size, same manufacturer, same type and same tread pattern.
- Do not install tires with different degrees of wear.
- Make sure the pressure in all 4 tires is the same.
