Withdrawal
1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Remove the shield and panel under the shield.
3. Disconnect FRP sensor connector A, IMRC solenoid valve connector B, fuel injector connectors C, and glow plug connectors D.
4. Put wrench E on nut F and wrench G on nut H, then remove high pressure pipes I.
5. Disconnect rail return hose J.
6. Remove the fuel rail K.
Installation
1. Remove injectors.
2. Install rail A and connect its return hose.
3. Set injector angle, hand tighten nuts B on new high pressure pipes.
4. Install the injector with a new seal.
5. Tighten the nuts on the injector.
6. Tighten nuts on rail C.
7. Loosen the fuel pump fasteners.
8. Hand tighten nuts A on the new high pressure pipe.
9. Tighten the fuel pump mountings.
10. Tighten the nut on fuel pump B.
11. Tighten the nut on the fuel distribution rail C.
12. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal with a new fuel injector return hose assembly and bleed the fuel system.
Note. If the retainer and rubber seal C of the high pressure pipe are not installed, fuel may leak from the fuel line.
If the O-ring is damaged, replace the injector return hose assembly.
