Replacing the vacuum pump (N22A) (Honda Civic 8)

1. Remove the intermediate shaft.

2. Remove the oil bypass tube.

3. Remove the timing chain housing and timing chain.

4. Disconnect the vacuum hose.

5. Remove bolts A.



6. Remove vacuum pump B.

7. Install the sensor in the reverse order of removal, using a new O-ring C.

Note: When removing the vacuum pump, make sure the D-ring is in place
