The boot lid is unlocked and locked at the same time as the other doors of the vehicle: by unlocking and locking the driver's door using the key, remote control or central locking button, and also using the locking lever on the driver's door.
To open the tailgate, press the latch (see picture), and then lift the door. To close the rear door, pull it down using the inside handle and then press the bottom of the door.
When the car is moving, the rear door should be closed. This will prevent damage to it and the penetration of exhaust gases into the car.
Unlocking the rear door
If the rear door cannot be unlocked using the central locking control, it can be unlocked manually.
Place a piece of cloth on the cover located on the inside of the rear door and pry it open using a small flat-head screwdriver.
Press the release lever to the right and down as shown in the figure.
If you have to open the rear door manually, the rear door is faulty. Contact your dealer for repairs.
