1. Set the front wheels in the direction of straight-ahead travel.

Installation



1. Make sure the front wheels are facing straight ahead.

2. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal and wait at least 3 minutes.

4. Install the coil wire onto the steering shaft and connect the connectors.



5. Install the steering column cover.

6. If necessary, adjust the spiral wire:

a) Turn the spiral wire clockwise until it stops.

b) Turn the spiral wire counterclockwise (about 2.5 turns) so that the mark (A) on the spiral wire is at the top, as shown in the figure.

Note: The new coil wire does not require adjustment.


7. Align the protrusions of the spiral wire with the slots on the steering wheel, install the steering wheel and tighten the bolt (A).

9. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.

10. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position. Make sure that the "SRS" indicator comes on for 6 seconds and goes out.

11. Turn the steering wheel fully left and right. Make sure that the "SRS" indicator does not light.



12. Make sure the horn switch works.

13. Enter the access code to the radio.
