Removal and installation the driver's airbag



1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal and wait at least 3 minutes.

2. Remove the panel (A), disconnect the coil wire connector (B) from the driver's airbag connector (C).

3. Using a TORX key (T30), unscrew the two bolts (A) and remove the driver's airbag (B).

Note: Do not reuse bolts.


4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

5. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position. Make sure that the "SRS" indicator comes on for 6 seconds and goes out.

6. Make sure the horn switch works.

7. Enter the access code to the radio.

Removal and installation the front passenger airbag



1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal and wait at least 3 minutes.

2. Remove the glove box.

3. Disconnect the front passenger airbag connector (B) from the connector (A).

3. Disconnect the front passenger airbag…


4. Loosen the driver's airbag mounting nuts (A) and, using a slotted screwdriver, remove the front passenger airbag (B).

4. Loosen the driver's airbag mounting nuts (A)…


Note:
  • be careful not to damage the instrument panel;
  • there are clips on the front passenger airbag cover, be careful not to damage the clips when removing.


5. Install in the reverse order of removal.



6. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position. Make sure that the "SRS" indicator comes on for 6 seconds and goes out.

7. Enter the access code to the radio.

Removal and installation side airbags



1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal and wait at least 3 minutes.

2. Disconnect the connector (A).

3. Remove the seat and seat back.

4. Loosen the nut (A) and remove the side airbag (B).

4. Loosen the nut (A) and remove the side airbag…


Caution: Be careful not to damage the wiring harness when installing the side airbag.


Note: Do not reuse the side airbag mounting nut.


5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

6. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position. Make sure that the "SRS" indicator comes on for 6 seconds and goes out.
