Removal and installation
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal and wait at least 3 minutes.
2. Disconnect the connectors from the driver and front passenger airbags.
3. Disconnect the connector from the side airbags.
4. Disconnect the connectors from the seat belt pretensioners.
5. Remove the lower center instrument panel trim.
6. Disconnect the connectors (A, B, C).
7. Using the TORX key, unscrew the bolts (A) and remove the passive safety system control unit (B).
8. Install in the reverse order of removal
9. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position. Make sure that the "SRS" indicator comes on for 6 seconds and goes out.
