Removal and installation
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal and wait at least 3 minutes.
2. Disconnect the side airbag connector.
3. Remove the seat and seat back.
4. Remove the cover (A), disconnect the connectors (B), loosen the screws (C), and remove the front passenger position detection system control unit (D).
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
6. Perform the authorization procedure for the front passenger position detection system control unit.
7. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position. Check that the "SRS" indicator comes on for 6 seconds and goes out.
