1. The gearbox housing is not equipped with a dipstick. The transmission oil level in the gearbox is checked by removing the control/filler plug from the side wall of the crankcase (see accompanying illustration). Locate the plug on the right side of the manual transmission and carefully wipe it and the crankcase surface surrounding it with a clean rag. Unscrew the plug - the gear oil level in the crankcase must reach the lower cut of the control / filler hole, otherwise it is necessary to make an appropriate adjustment. If the vehicle is raised to provide access to the manual transmission housing, make sure that the props are secure before climbing under it.
Note. The car must be installed strictly horizontally.
2a. If necessary, through the same hole, add the required amount of oil of the required grade to the gearbox crankcase - use a funnel (see accompanying illustrations).
2b. The level can be considered normalized when the oil begins to flow out of the hole in a thin stream. 3. Screw the plug back into place and tighten it firmly. Make a short road test of the car, after which make sure there are no oil leaks through the plug.
