Checking the oil level in the gearbox
Change the oil in the gearbox under normal driving conditions after 144,000 km or 6 years. When driving in difficult conditions, the oil is changed after 48,000 km or 2 years.
1. Park the vehicle on a level surface, turn off the ignition, apply the handbrake and block the wheels.
2. Stopper filling (and at the same time control) The holes are on the side of the gearbox housing. Open the plug and clean.
3. The oil level should reach the lower edge of the filler hole. To check the level, remove the bolt on the side of the gearbox housing. If oil leaks, or you can see that the level is near the lower edge of the control hole, then screw the bolt back into place and tighten with a torque of 45 Nm.
4. If necessary, add oil using a bulb or syringe.
Changing the oil in the gearbox
1. Raise the vehicle and place it on stands horizontally.
2. Substitute the pallet, unscrew the filling and drain plug. Drain the oil into the pan.
3. Replace the seals, tighten the drain plug with a torque of 40 Nm and fill in oil up to the lower edge of the filling hole (approx. 1.7 l). Screw on the filler plug and tighten to 45 Nm. Lower the car.
