Attention: High voltage!
1. Turn the ignition key to the second position (the light should be on "battery" and/or "oil pressure"). Thus, you have turned on the power of the electronic module.
2. Check for visible damage (poor contact, corrosion, breaks, etc.) ignition wires.
3. Check the value of the secondary voltage (about 25,000 volts). Poor contact at the spark plug can lead to misfiring. Examine the candle. Pay special attention to coke deposits: they can lead to short circuits without sparking.
4. Check for traces of coke deposits on the coil. If coke deposits are present, replace the coil.
5. Measure the resistance across the contacts. If the ohmmeter reads infinity, replace the coil.
6. Measure the resistance of the high voltage wires. It must be less than 30,000 ohms.
