1. Caution: Always disconnect the negative cable first.
2. Release the battery holders.
3. Lift the battery.
4. With the battery removed, inspect its mounting area (tray) for corrosion.
5. If corrosion has penetrated to the tray brackets, unscrew the bracket fasteners, remove the bracket and clean it from rust.
6. When replacing the battery, make sure that the old and new batteries are identical (size, capacity and discharge current).
7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
