1. Periodically inspect cables. Do not allow them to be damaged, insulation cracks and burnout. Poor cable contacts with the battery, housing and starter are one of the reasons for difficult starting of the engine.
2. Inspect the contacts on the battery. If a white coating of deposits is found on the contacts and corrosion of the cable core is observed, lure the cable.
3. Disconnect the negative cable first to prevent a short circuit from the tool.
4. Normally the positive cable is colored red and has a larger conductor cross section.
5. Clean the contact points from deposits and dirt. Lightly grease the contacts with petroleum jelly.
6. Follow the full contact of the cable and electrical equipment.
