2. Control is carried out visually. In case of limited access, a mirror is used.
3. The control valve is located inside the air filter housing.
4. Disconnect the flexible air duct.
5. Perform the check on a cold engine. Start the engine and observe the behavior of the valve: it should move to the "closed" position, i.e. air is taken from the warm air pipe, heated at the exhaust manifold.
6. When the engine is warm, the valve should move to the "open" position. Depending on the ambient temperature, this process takes 10-15 minutes.
