Inspection of throttle control rods (Honda Civic 3)

1. If something prevents the accelerator pedal from moving, inspect the throttle linkage system.

2. Lubricate all lever axles with engine oil.

3. Press the throttle lever and check the cable deflection. It should be within 5-9 mm. If the deflection is insufficient, loosen the lock nut and adjust the cable length.
