2. Place a container large enough to drain all the water under the fuel filter.
3. Connect the hose to the water tank cap B.
4. Unscrew the water tank cap and drain the water from the fuel filter.
5. Screw on the plug tightly and disconnect the hose.
6. Start the engine, then check the water level in fuel filter A on the information display B.
- If the water in the fuel filter light is on, go to step 7.
- If the water in the fuel filter indicator is off, the fuel filter has been drained of water.
7. Disconnect the fuel filter water level sensor 2P connector and then recheck the fuel filter water indicator.
- If the fuel filter water light is on, repair short in the wire between the fuel filter water level sensor and the gauge control module (tachometer).
- If the fuel filter water light does not illuminate, replace the fuel filter water level sensor.
8. Bleed the fuel system.
