
2. Place a container large enough to catch all the water under the fuel filter.
3. Connect the hose to the water tank cap B.

4. Unscrew the water tank cap and drain the water from the fuel filter.
5. Screw the plug tightly and disconnect the hose.
6. Start the engine, then check the fuel filter water level reading A on the information display B.

- If the water in fuel filter indicator is on, proceed to step 7.
- If the water in the fuel filter indicator does not light, the water drain from the fuel filter is complete.
7. Disconnect the 2P connector of the fuel filter water level sensor and then recheck the fuel filter water indicator.
- If the water in fuel filter indicator is on, repair the short in the wire between the water in fuel filter sensor and the instrument control module (tachometer).
- If the water in fuel filter indicator does not light, replace the water level sensor in the fuel filter.
8. Bleed the fuel system.
