Attention.
- Observe fire safety regulations.
- To prevent fuel leaking from the pressure regulator and fuel lines from getting onto the engine, lay down a cloth.
- When replacing the fuel filter, be sure to turn off the engine and disconnect the (-) battery cable.
Replace the fuel filter if the fuel filter is damaged or there is a fuel leak.
- If the fuel pressure does not reach the norm, and the fuel pump (see below) and pressure regulator (see above) are in good condition.
2WD models
1. Disconnect the (-) battery cable.
2. Relieve the fuel pressure (see above).
3. Remove the fuel pump (see below).
4. Remove the tube and electrical wiring clamps and bracket C.
5. Remove the transmitter unit.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

- When replacing the transmitter unit, insert it securely until it snaps into place without deforming the float arm.
- Do not press on the suction filter from the bottom.
4WD models
1. Disconnect the (-) battery cable.
2. Relieve the fuel pressure (see above).
3. Disconnect the fuel line with the quick-release coupling (see above).

4. Unscrew the 2 6mm mounting bolts.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
