Attention.
- Observe fire safety regulations.
- Use a cloth to prevent fuel escaping from the pressure regulator and fuel pipes from getting on the engine.
- When changing the fuel filter, be sure to stop the engine and disconnect (-) battery cable.
Replace the fuel filter if the fuel filter is damaged or fuel leaks.
- If the fuel pressure is not correct and the fuel pump (see below) and pressure regulator (see above) serviceable.
2WD Models
1. Disconnect (-) battery cable.
2. Relieve fuel pressure (see above).
3. Remove the fuel pump (see below).
4. Remove the clamps for tubes and e / wiring, as well as bracket C.
5. Remove the transmitter unit.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
- When replacing the transmitter unit, insert it securely until it snaps into place without deforming the float arm.
- Do not press on the suction filter from the underside.
4WD Models
1. Disconnect (-) battery cable.
2. Relieve fuel pressure (see above).
3. Disconnect the fuel pipe with quick connector (see above).
4. Turn off 2 fixing bolts on 6 mm.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
