2. Remove the engine cover.
3. Remove the expansion tank cap.
4. Raise the machine to the full height of the lift.

5. Remove the lower engine cover.
6. Unscrew the radiator drain plug A and drain the coolant.

7. Remove drain bolt A from the rear of the engine block and drain the coolant.

8. After the coolant has completely drained, tighten the drain plug securely.
9. Replace the drain bolt with a new washer and tighten it securely
10. Install the lower engine cover.
11. Lower the car onto the lift.
12. Loosen the system bleed valve A on the cylinder head.

13. Fill expansion tank A with genuine all-season antifreeze/coolant type 2 up to the "MAX" mark B.
Note. Always use original all-season antifreeze/coolant Type 2 (P / N OL999-9001). Using a different brand of coolant than Honda can cause corrosion, which can lead to deterioration of the cooling system parameters or its failure.
Genuine All Season Antifreeze/Coolant Type 2 is a mixture of 50% antifreeze and 50% water. Do not add water.
Engine filling capacity (including expansion tank with a capacity of 0.6 l).
After replacing the coolant: 6.6 l.
After engine overhaul: 7.8 l.
14. Tighten the air bleed valve when exiting.
15. Install the expansion tank cap without tightening.

16. Start the engine and wait until the electric cooling fan turns on at least twice. Do not turn on the air conditioning system, then turn off the engine. Check that the engine heating temperature allows air to be pumped into the engine cylinder block.
17. Pour coolant into the expansion tank up to the A "MAX" mark, warming up the engine.

18. Tighten the expansion tank cap securely, then start the engine again and check for leaks.
19. Remove the left front wheel, then the left inner fender liner.
20. Check the receiver to make sure that no coolant has entered the receiver. If coolant has entered the receiver, remove clamps A, then slide and remove receiver B from retainer C.
21. Drain the coolant, then reinstall the receiver.

22. Install the left inner fender liner, then install the left front wheel.
