2. Remove the engine cover.
3. Remove the expansion tank cap.
4. Raise the machine to the full height of the lift.
5. Remove the engine bottom cover.
6. Unscrew the drain plug A of the radiator and drain the coolant.
7. Remove drain bolt A from the rear of the engine block and drain the coolant.
8. After the coolant has completely drained, tighten the drain plug securely.
9. Replace the drain bolt with a new washer and secure it firmly
10. Install the engine bottom cover.
11. Lower the machine on the lift.
12. Loosen the system bleed valve A on the cylinder head.
13. Fill original all-weather type 2 antifreeze/coolant into expansion tank A up to the mark «MAX» IN.
Note. Always use Genuine All Season Antifreeze/Coolant Type 2 (P/N OL999—9001). Use of non-Honda coolant may cause corrosion, resulting in poor performance or failure of the cooling system.
Type 2 Genuine All Season Antifreeze/Coolant is a mixture of 50% antifreeze and 50% water. Don't add water.
Filling capacity of the engine (including expansion tank with a capacity of 0.6 l).
After changing the coolant: 6.6 liters.
After engine overhaul: 7.8 liters.
14. Tighten the air bleed valve.when to go out.
15. Loosely install expansion tank caps.
16. Start the engine and wait until the electric cooling fan turns on at least two times. do not turn on the air conditioning system then turn off the engine Check that the engine heating temperature allows air to be pumped into the engine block.
17. Pour coolant into the expansion tank up to mark A «MAX», warming up the engine.
18. Tighten the expansion tank cap tightly, then start the engine again and check for leaks.
19. Remove the left front wheel, then the left inner fender liner.
20. Check the receiver to make sure no coolant has entered the receiver. If coolant enters the receiver, remove the clips A, then slide and remove the receiver B from the retainer C.
21. Drain the coolant, then reinstall the receiver.
22. Install the left inner fender liner, then install the left front wheel.
