Apply pressure of 112-146 kPa.
3. Make sure there is no pressure drop.
4. If there is a drop in pressure, replace the radiator cap.
Checking the radiator expansion tank cap (Honda Civic 8)
1. Remove the expansion tank cap A, lubricate the sealing gasket with coolant, then install it on the pressure tester B (commercially available). Use small adapter KE-30-5 C (commercially available) for installing the expansion tank cap.
Apply pressure of 112-146 kPa.
