1. Wait for the engine to cool, then carefully remove the expansion tank and add coolant to it to the base of the filler neck.
2. Connect pressure tester A (commercially available) to the expansion tank. Use a small adapter KE-30-5 V (commercially available) for connecting a pressure tester.
Apply a pressure of 112-146 kPa.
4. Check for coolant leaks and pressure drops.
5. Remove the tester and reinstall the expansion tank cap.
6. Check that there is no oil in the coolant and no coolant in the oil.
