Internal fuse box
The vehicle has two fuse boxes that protect the vehicle's electrical circuits.
The internal fuse box is located in the passenger compartment, in the lower corner to the left of the driver.
Underhood fuse box
The underhood fuse box is located on the far left of the engine compartment. To open the fuse box cover, press the release tabs as shown in the figure.
Checking and replacing blown fuses
In case of failure of any device or device that is part of the electrical equipment of the car, it is necessary first of all to check the serviceability of the corresponding fuses. To do this, find the fuse (or fuses), which protects the circuit of a failed device or device. First of all, check the serviceability of the fuses of the failed electrical equipment, and then all other fuses. If all fuses are OK, then something else is causing the problem. Replace blown fuses and check the functioning of failed vehicle devices.
Turn the ignition key to position «LOCK» (0). Check that the headlights and all other electrical consumers are turned off.
Remove the fuse box cover located in the engine compartment.
Visually inspect all large fuses located in the underhood fuse box. A sign of a fuse failure is a blown fuse that is visible through the fuse's transparent body. To replace the fuse, unscrew the two fixing screws using a Phillips screwdriver.
Check the operation of all small fuses located in the engine compartment fuse box, as well as the operation of all fuses in the box located in the passenger compartment. To check the health of the fuse, you must remove it from the socket using special tweezers. The tweezers are located under the cover of the fuse box located in the engine compartment.
The symptom of a bad fuse is a blown fuse inside the fuse box. Replace the blown fuse with a replacement fuse of the same or less current rating.
If there is no spare fuse at hand, it is recommended to temporarily replace the blown fuse with a good one, taking it from another socket in the fuse box. Replace with a fuse with the same or lower rating. Take the fuse for the audio system or cigarette lighter circuit or any other electrical device that you can safely do without for a while.
If you replace a blown fuse with a lower current rating, the new fuse may blow immediately. This is not a sign of an electrical problem in the vehicle. Install a new fuse with the correct current rating as soon as possible.
Replacing a blown fuse with a new one with a higher rated current significantly increases the likelihood of failure of the vehicle's electrical equipment due to overload. Therefore, if the required spare fuse is not available, a fuse with a lower current rating than the one being replaced should be installed.

If a spare fuse with the required current rating blows quickly, this indicates a serious electrical fault in the vehicle. Leave the blown fuse in the socket and take it to a service station to check and repair the vehicle's electrical equipment.
To check the battery fuse, remove the positive (+) terminals.
