Checking and replacing blown fuses
If any device or appliance that is part of the vehicle's electrical equipment fails, you must first check the serviceability of the corresponding fuses. To do this, find the fuse (or fuses), which protects the circuit of the failed device or appliance. First of all, check the serviceability of the fuses of the failed electrical equipment, and then all the other fuses. If all the fuses are in order, then the cause of the malfunction lies in something else. Replace the blown fuses and check the functioning of the failed devices of the car.
Turn the ignition key to the "LOCK" (0) position. Check that the headlights and all other electrical consumers are switched off.
Remove the fuse box cover located in the engine compartment.
Visually check the condition of all large fuses located in the underhood fuse box. A sign of a faulty fuse is a burnt-out fuse link, which is visible through the transparent fuse housing. To replace the fuse, you must unscrew the two mounting screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
Check the serviceability of all small fuses located in the underhood fuse box, as well as the serviceability of all fuses in the box located in the passenger compartment. To check the serviceability of a fuse, you need to remove it from the socket using special tweezers. The tweezers are under the cover of the fuse box located in the engine compartment.
A faulty fuse is indicated by a blown fusible link inside the fuse housing. Replace the blown fuse with a replacement fuse rated for the same or lower current rating.

If you don't have a spare fuse at hand, it is recommended to temporarily replace the blown fuse with a working one, taking it from another slot in the fuse box. For replacement, use a fuse rated for the same or lower nominal current. Take the fuse for the audio system circuit or cigarette lighter or any other electrical device that you can do without for some time without any pain.
If you replace a blown fuse with a fuse rated for a lower current, the new fuse may blow immediately. This is not a sign of a malfunction of the vehicle's electrical equipment. Install a new fuse with the required current rating as soon as possible.
Replacing a blown fuse with a new one with a higher rated current value significantly increases the likelihood of failure of the vehicle's electrical equipment due to overload. Therefore, if the required spare fuse is not available, a fuse with a lower rated current value should be installed compared to the one being replaced.

If a spare fuse with the required nominal current value quickly burns out, this indicates a serious malfunction of the vehicle's electrical equipment. Leave the blown fuse in the socket and contact a service station to check and repair the vehicle's electrical equipment.

To check the battery fuse, remove the positive (+) terminal cover.
Replacing the driver's door electric window fuse disables the automatic "AUTO" mode of this window. After replacing the fuse, you must activate the automatic mode of the windows in accordance with the instructions on page 10.

The location and completeness of the electrical fuses installed in the underhood box depends on the vehicle modification. In some cases, you can use the fuse placement diagram, which is shown on the fuse box cover sticker. The table below provides a complete list of the vehicle's fuses.
