Check the battery status and charge level monthly using the built-in color indicator. The battery label provides information needed to monitor the battery status using the color of the indicator.
Inspect the battery for signs of corrosion on the battery terminal posts and wire terminals. To remove oxidation products, wet the battery posts and terminals with a soda water solution. After the reaction stops, which is accompanied by the release of bubbles and the color of the solution changing to brown, rinse the posts and terminals with clean water. Wipe the battery with a cloth or paper towel. To protect the terminals and terminals from corrosion, apply grease to them.
Before connecting the charger to the battery, you must disconnect both terminals of the wires from the terminals. Otherwise, the car's electrical equipment may fail. Disconnect the negative (-) terminal first and connect it last.
