Check the air pressure in the spare tire at the same time as checking the pressure in all other tires. Normal air pressure in a small wheel: 420 kPa.
When fitting a small spare tire to a vehicle, there are certain vehicle behaviors that must be taken into account and the limitations listed below must be observed.
Under no circumstances exceed the speed limit of 80 km/h.
A small wheel reduces the ride and comfort of the vehicle, and has poorer grip on some types of road surface than a wheel with a normal tire. Therefore, exercise extra care and attention if your vehicle is equipped with a small spare tire.
Snow chains must not be fitted to the small spare wheel.
The small spare tire is designed for use only on a specific make and model of vehicle. Therefore, do not install it on cars of another make or model.
It is forbidden to install two small spare wheels on the car at the same time (or more than two).
It is forbidden to install a small-sized spare tire on a car when towing a trailer.
The diameter of the small spare tire is smaller than that of a conventional tire. Therefore, when installing a small spare wheel, the ground clearance is reduced. Be careful not to damage the vehicle when driving over obstacles and when driving on bumpy roads.
Change the tire if there are smooth cross bars on the treadmill (wear indicators). The new tire must be completely identical in design and dimensions to the old tire and must be installed on the old spare wheel. The undersize tire is not designed to be mounted on a normal size wheel. Conversely, you can not mount a regular size tire on a small wheel.
