Checking the drive
1. Remove the door panel.
2. Disconnect block And 6P of a socket from a screen wiper drive.
3. Test drive operation in each direction by connecting battery power and «mass» according to the table. When the drive stops, disconnect one of the wires immediately.
4. If the drive is not working or is sticking, replace it.
Checking the pulsator
5. Connect the connector block 6P in the power window drive.
6. Check the voltage between the terminals.
There should be battery voltage between terminals #1 [6] (+) and No. 2 [5] (-) with ignition key in position «ON» (II).
Connect analog voltmeter to terminals #4 [3] (+) and No. 2 [5] (-) and turn on the wiper motor at low or high speed. The voltmeter needle will fluctuate (the digital voltmeter will then show an average voltage of 0-5 V).
Connect analog voltmeter to terminals #5 [2] (+) and No. 2 [5] (-) and turn on the wiper motor at low or high speed. The voltmeter needle will fluctuate (the digital voltmeter will then show an average voltage of 0-5 V).
7. If the voltage is not as specified, test the input signals (on terminals no. 5, 6 and 7) power window master switch.
8. If the switch is serviceable, replace a window regulator drive.
9. Setting the power window control unit.
