Note: If any of the above occurs, the driver's window regulator will need to be re-adjusted.
Replacement or repair of the window regulator.
Replacement or repair of the window lift motor.
Replacement or repair of glass gutter.
Replacement or repair of driver's door glass.
Power is disconnected from the power window control unit while the power window timer is set to "ON".
1. Turn the ignition on by turning the key to the "ON" (II) position.
2. Lower the driver's or passenger's door window all the way down using the "DOWN" button on the driver's side window lift.
3. Open the driver's or front passenger's door.
Note: 4-7 times should be performed with an interval of 5 seconds.
4. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.
5. Press and hold the driver's or front passenger's window DOWN button.
6. Turn the ignition on by turning the key to the "ON" (II) position.
7. Release the driver's window "DOWN" button.
8. Repeat 4-7 times three more times.
9. Wait 1 second.
10. Make sure that the "UP AUTO" and "DOWN AUTO" buttons do not work. If the "UP AUTO" and "DOWN" buttons work, go back to step 1.
11. Lower the driver's door window down to the stop using the "DOWN" button on the driver's window regulator.
12. Raise and hold the driver's window UP button until the window reaches the fully closed position, then continue holding the button for 1 second.
13. Make sure that the power window control unit is reconfigured with the driver's power window "UP AUTO" and "DOWN AUTO" functions.
If the window still does not operate in "AUTO" mode, perform the procedure several more times, paying particular attention to the 5 second time limit between steps.
