Using a tester



1. Connect the tester to the diagnostic connector.

2. Turn the ignition key to the "ON(II)" position.

3. Make sure the scanner is connected to the ECU.

4. Select "CRANK PATTERN" in the scanner's "ADJASTMENT MENU".

5. Select "CRANK PATTERN LEARNING".

Without tester



1. Start the engine. Keep the engine speed at 3000 rpm and wait until the radiator fan turns on.

2. Take a drive on a horizontal road: reduce engine speed from 2500 rpm to 1000 rpm, gear "2" ("1" - manual transmission).

3. Repeat step 2 several times.

4. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.

5. Turn the ignition key to the "ON(ll)" position and wait 30 seconds.
