Caution: To avoid damage to transmission components, partial loading of 4WD models is prohibited (by raising only one of the vehicle's axles). Models with 4WD have automatically connected all-wheel drive.
The rear axle is connected using a coupling installed in front of the rear gearbox. The rear axle is connected if the rotation speed of the cardan shaft differs from the rotation speed of the rear axle gearbox shaft (for example, when one of the front wheels slips). However, it should be taken into account that the rear axle coupling does not provide 100% power transmission, and the coupling is activated with a slight time delay.
Caution: It is prohibited to use forced connection of the rear axle in the following cases:
- when driving on dry roads;
- when driving at a speed of more than 80 km/h;
- when installing wheels of different sizes (for example, spare parts) in emergency situations.
Attention:
- When changing tires (wheel disks) use only tires (wheel disks) same size and design as recommended tires (wheel disks) for your vehicle and with the same or greater load capacity. Using a tire (wheel disk) any other size or type may seriously affect the vehicle's handling.
- Fit tires of the same size, same brand, same type and same tread pattern on all 4 wheels.
- When using winter tires, also install tires of the same specified size, same manufacturer, same type and same tread pattern.
- Do not install tires with different degrees of wear.
- Make sure the pressure in all 4 tires is the same.
