If, when turning the ignition key to position "II", this lamp lights up for approximately 6 seconds and then goes out, this is normal.

If the control lamp is in the following state, it can be assumed that the system is faulty, so you need to urgently go to the Honda service for diagnostics.
  • The lamp lights up while the engine is running.
  • The lamp does not light up in position "II" of the ignition key or does not go out even after approx. 6 seconds.

In such cases, there is a risk that the airbag will not deploy at the right moment.
