Sedan



1. Remove the powertrain control unit.

2. Loosen the bolt and remove the bracket (A). Disconnect the connector (B) and the wiring harness retainer (C). Loosen the screws and remove the air intake switch actuator (D).

Sedan



1. Disconnect the connector from the air intake switch actuator.



Attention: strictly observe the polarity when connecting the battery, failure to observe the polarity will lead to failure of the electric motor.


2. Connect the battery to terminals "1" (+), "5" (-) and "7" (-), make sure the electric drive works. Disconnect the wire from terminal "5" or "7", make sure the damper stops in the "FRESH" or "RECIRCULATE".

If the air intake switch actuator does not work, replace it. If the actuator does not work smoothly, make sure that the flap and rod move smoothly.

If the damper and rod move evenly, replace the air intake switch actuator.

If the damper and rod do not move evenly, repair them.

1. Disconnect the connector from the air intake switch actuator.
