1. The breaker is a square-shaped relay installed in the mounting block located on the left under the instrument panel (see accompanying illustration).
2. The correct functioning of the breaker is confirmed by a clearly audible rhythmic clicking; if one of the indicators fails, the frequency of the breaker operation doubles, informing the driver of the need to replace the lamp.
3. Simultaneous failure of both indicators with a high degree of probability indicates a failure of the fuse in the mounting block located in the engine compartment of the car. It is also possible that the breaker itself or the steering column switch has failed. Check the condition of the contact connections of the electrical wiring of the corresponding circuit. If the fuse is knocked out, check the electrical wiring for signs of a short circuit.
4. To replace the breaker, pull it straight up and out of the mounting block.
5. Make sure that the replacement breaker matches the faulty one in size.
6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
