1. The breaker is a square-shaped relay installed in a mounting block located on the left under the instrument panel (see accompanying illustration).
2. The correct functioning of the breaker is confirmed by a distinctly audible rhythmic click, if one of the indicators fails, the frequency of the breaker operation doubles, informing the driver about the need to replace the lamp.
3. Simultaneous failure of both indicators with a high degree of probability indicates a failure of the fuse in the mounting block located in the engine compartment of the vehicle. The possibility of failure of the breaker itself, or the steering column switch, is also not ruled out. Check up a condition of contact connections of electroconducting of a corresponding circuit. If a fuse blows, check the wiring for signs of a short circuit.
4. To replace the breaker, pull it vertically up and out of the mounting block.
5. Make sure that the replacement breaker is the correct size for the failed one.
6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
