Turn Signal/Hazard Relay Input Test
1. Remove the turn signal/alarm relay from the fuse/relay box under the dash.
2. Check the relay and fuse/relay box sockets and make sure they make good contact.
- If the contacts are bent, loose, or rusted, repair and recheck the system.
- If the contacts appear to be OK, perform the following checks on the socket contacts of the fuse/relay box (table).
- If any of the checks indicate a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
- If the relay input test shows normal, the turn signal/alarm relay must be faulty, replace it.
Hazard Switch Testing
1. Remove the center section from the dashboard.
2. Disconnect the 10-pin connector from the switch.
3. Push the switch from behind the center section and remove it.
4. Check the presence of continuity between the contacts in all positions of the switch in accordance with the table.
