Starter replacement (Honda Civic 5)

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Disconnect the starter cable from terminal B on the solenoid, then disconnect BLK/WHT (black/white) wire from contact S.



3. Remove the two bolts holding the starter, then remove the starter.

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Note: When installing the starter cable, make sure the bent part of the ring contact faces outward.



5. Connect the positive battery cable and the negative battery cable.
