Removal
1. Disconnect the connector from the distributor.
2. Disconnect the ignition wires from the distributor cap (DI).
3. Remove the mounting bolts from the distributor, then remove the distributor from the cylinder head.
Installation
Note: Before installing the distributor, place the piston of cylinder #1 at TDC on the compression stroke
1. Apply machine oil to the new O-ring, then install it.
2. Insert the distributor into place.
Note: The lugs on the end of the distributor and the associated slots on the end of the camshaft are offset to eliminate the possibility of the distributor being turned 180 degrees.
3. Install the mounting bolts and tighten them lightly.
Connect the ignition wires to the distributor cap (DI) as shown,

5. Connect the connector to the distributor.
6. Set the ignition timing.
7. After setting the ignition timing angle, tighten the mounting bolts.
