Caution: Carefully remove the high-voltage wires by pulling the rubber boots towards you. Do not bend the wires, you can tear them from the inside.
1. Check the condition of the high-voltage wire contacts. If any of the contacts are corroded, clean them and if they are broken or warped, replace the ignition wire.
2. Connect the ohmmeter probes and measure the resistance.
Ignition wire resistance: max. 25 kOhm at 20°C
3. If the resistance exceeds 25 kOhm, replace the ignition wire.
