Removal and installation

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

2. Loosen the adjusting nut (see fig. 3.9).

3. Disconnect the cable from the clutch fork lever.

4. Remove the cable from the support bracket.

5. Disconnect the cable from all clamps in the engine compartment.

6. Disconnect the cable from the clutch pedal.

7. Pull the cable out from the engine compartment.

8. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Lubricate the ends of the cable and pedals. Slide the cable.

Adjustment

9. Measure the pedal free play. Press the pedal by hand from the zero position until the resistance starts to increase. Compare the measurement data with the recommended specification. Adjustment is made by turning the cable adjusting nut.
