Clutch pedal free play:

• cRX models from 1984 to 1987 - 9.5 - 32 mm
• the rest - 16 - 22 mm

Release bearing fork clearance:

• models from 1984 to 1987 - 4.8 - 6.4 mm
• since 1988 - 3.2 - 4.8 mm

Drive shafts

(only for 4x2 vehicles, all-wheel drive see Chapter 8 Part B):

models from 1984 to 1987:

• left - 773.1-776.3 mm
• right - 470-474.7 mm

models 1988 - 1989:

• left with damper - 774.7-779.6 mm
• left without damper - 773.1-777.9 mm
• right - 482.6-485.8 mm

1990 models:

• left - 790.6-793.7 mm
• right - 495.3-498.5 mm

Tightening torques for threaded connections (Nm)

• Clutch basket bolts - 26
• Release Bearing Fork Bolt - 30
• Drive shaft to hub mounting nut - 182
