Tire wear depends largely on driving style and accelerates with sudden braking and acceleration, and when cornering at high speed. Check your tires regularly for cuts or bulges, especially on the sidewalls. Remove any stones or sharp objects stuck in the tread before they penetrate the tire and cause a sudden drop in pressure. Be aware of any signs of abnormal tire wear. Pay attention to the tread pattern of your tires. Signs of uneven tread wear indicate a violation of the front wheel alignment angles and/or balancing. If you notice any of these signs of uneven wear, find the cause and correct it immediately.

Wheel rotation

Wheel rotation is performed to ensure even wear of all tires. The wheels are rearranged according to a 4-wheel scheme) (photo). According to a 4-wheel scheme, the tires can be rearranged only on one side of the car, these tires have a marking on the sidewall in the form of an arrow (the so-called "one-sided" tires).

The design of some alloy wheels does not allow them to be installed on another axle (for example rear discs on the front axle). Moreover, if "one-sided" tires are installed on these disks, then wheel rotation is impossible. In this case, you can remove and rearrange the tires in accordance with the markings.

Please note! The non-standard spare wheel is not used in the wheel rotation scheme.

Tire construction

It is recommended to install tires of the same design. When installing radial tires, you should select tires and wheels so that the vehicle's clearance and permissible wheel load are not violated. Radial tires should only be installed as a set. It is prohibited to install radial tires on the front axle only.

Tire care

Tire maintenance consists of checking the tread depth and tire pressure (tested on cold tires), identifying signs of abnormal wear and damage that can be used to determine the condition of the front suspension and steering components. The tire pressure is indicated on a plate attached to the driver's door pillar. Regularly remove any stones or sharp objects stuck in the tread. Periodically remove the wheels and clean the outer and inner surfaces of the disc from dirt.
