Removal
1. Relieve fuel pressure.
2. Remove the center console and parking brake lever A.
3. Remove access panel A from the floor.
4. Disconnect the 4P connector B of the fuel pump.
5. Disconnect quick release fittings C and hoses D from the fuel tank assembly.
6. Using the special tool, loosen the fuel tank block assembly mounting nut A.

7. Remove the fastening nut A and the fuel tank block B.
Installation
1. Install a new base gasket A onto fuel tank B.
2. Insert the fuel tank unit C into the tank. Be careful not to bend the fuel level meter sending unit.
3. Align marks D on the fuel tank and fuel tank block, then hand tighten the new lock nut E.
Note: After tightening the nut, make sure the marks are aligned. Visually or manually check the contour of the main gasket and make sure the gasket is not pinched.
4. Using the special tool, tighten the fuel tank block mounting nut A.
Note: Visually or manually inspect the contour of the main gasket and ensure that the gasket is not pinched.
