Removal and installation (2WD models)
1. Remove the fuel pump, pump out the fuel from the tank.
2. Raise the car on a lift.
3. Disconnect the filler tube and breather tube.
4. Remove the floor cross member.
5. Loosen the bolts and remove the fuel tank bracket.
6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Removal and installation (4WD models)
1. Remove the fuel pump and auxiliary fuel pump, pump out the fuel from the tank.
2. Raise the car on a lift.
3. Remove the fuel tank restrictors.
4. Remove the driveshaft.
5. Disconnect the filler tube, breather tube and fuel vapor recovery system tube.
6. Loosen the bolts and remove the fuel tank bracket.
7. Remove the protection from the fuel tank.
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
