«LOCK» — «Lockout»

"LOCK" — "Lockout"

When you are near the car, press the upper button on the remote control "LOCK" to simultaneously lock all the doors of the car. When you press the "LOCK" button, the turn signals and turn signal indicators on the instrument panel flash three times, which is a sign that the doors are successfully locked and the security system is activated (if available). If at least one door is not closed tightly or the key is left in the ignition, then it is not possible to lock the doors using the remote control.

"UNLOCK" — "Unlocking locks"

When you are near the vehicle, press the lower "UNLOCK" button on the remote control to unlock all vehicle doors. When you press the "UNLOCK" button, the turn signals and turn signal indicators on the instrument panel flash once.

When the door locks are unlocked using the remote control, the interior lights are automatically turned on (the ceiling light switches must be in the middle position). If no door is opened within 30 seconds, the interior lights will gradually go out. If you relock the doors using the remote control before 30 seconds have passed, the interior lights will turn off immediately.

If the key is in the ignition switch, it is not possible to unlock the doors using the remote control.

Additional locking of locks (superblocking) (for some vehicle versions)

Additional locking of door locks can be performed using the remote control. To perform additional locking of locks, you need to press the lock button on the remote control twice within 5 seconds.

Additional locking is not performed if any door or trunk lid is not closed tightly. However, it is performed even if the windows are not raised or the upper air vent is not closed.

To release the additional locking, press the unlock button on the remote control or unlock the driver's door with the key.

Attention! If there are people left in the car after the additional locking is activated, they will not be able to open the doors from the inside.

Before activating the additional locking system, make sure there are no passengers in the vehicle.

Rules for handling and care of the remote control of the central lock

Do not subject the remote control to strong impacts or drop it.

Protect the remote control from exposure to very high or low temperatures.

Submerging the remote control in water or other liquid will cause it to malfunction.

If you lose your remote control, contact your Honda dealer to purchase an additional remote control. The dealer will program a new remote control for your vehicle.
