Note. Do not reuse drained brake fluid. Use only clean, genuine Honda DOT 3 or DOT 4 Brake Fluid from a sealed container. The use of non-Honda approved brake fluid can cause corrosion and reduce the overall life of the systems.
Make sure that dirt or other foreign particles do not get into the brake fluid.
Do not spill brake fluid on the vehicle body as this may damage the paintwork. If brake fluid gets on the paintwork, wash it off immediately with water.
The brake fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir should be at «MAX» at the beginning of bleeding the system, the brake fluid should be added to the reservoir after bleeding each brake mechanism. Add the required amount of liquid.
1. Make sure the brake fluid level in reservoir A is at the top «MAX» level - line B.
2. Have someone gently depress the brake pedal several times, then hold the pedal down.
3. Begin bleeding from the front brake system on the driver's side.
Note. Bleed the calipers in the order shown.
4. Attach a piece of clear tubing A to bleeder B, then loosen the bleeder to allow air to escape from the system. Then firmly tighten the bleed screw.
5. At the end of work, do not forget to add brake fluid to the reservoir of the main brake cylinder up to the mark «MAX».
6. Repeat the procedure for the entire brake system until air bubbles disappear from the fluid.
