Brake booster (A)Check the operation of the brakes by pressing the brake pedal during a test drive. If the brakes do not work as they should, check the brake booster. If it does not operate properly or there are signs of leakage, replace the brake booster assembly.
Checking the piston seal and grease nipple (B)Check the operation of the brakes by pressing the brake pedal. Check for damage or signs of leakage. If the pedal does not operate properly or there is damage or signs of leakage, disassemble and inspect the master cylinder. When disassembling the cylinder, replace the secondary and primary pistons as a set.
Check if there is a difference in brake pedal travel when pressing the pedal quickly and slowly. If there is a difference, disassemble and check the master cylinder. When disassembling the cylinder, replace the secondary and primary pistons as a set.
Brake hoses (C)Check for damage or signs of leakage. If the brake hose is damaged or leaking, replace it with a new one.
Caliper piston seal and piston dust boots (D)Check the operation of the brakes by pressing the brake pedal. Check for damage or signs of leakage. If the pedal does not work properly, the brakes grab, or there is damage or signs of leakage, disassemble and inspect the brake caliper. When disassembling the brake caliper, replace the dust boots and seals with new ones.
