1. Remove the knockout panel.
2. Loosen the bolt and remove the fastener A, then remove the hood release lever B from the body.
3. Disconnect the hood release cable C from the hood release lever. Be careful not to twist the cable.
4. Install the hood release lever in the reverse order of its removal, paying attention to the following: make sure the hood release cable is properly connected.
Make sure the hood opens freely.
