2. Disconnect the hood lock switch connector A, then release the connector lock B.
3. Remove the bolts, then remove the hood lock C from the body.
4. Disconnect the hood release cable D from the hood lock.
5. Perform the lock installation operations in the reverse order of its removal operations, observing the following: apply universal grease to the areas of the hood lock indicated by the arrows.
Make sure the hood release cable is securely connected and the hood release switch connector is plugged in.
Adjust the position of the hood lock.
Make sure the hood opens freely and closes securely.
