7. Rotate the housing (B) of the start inhibit switch (A), and insert the 2 mm thick feeler gauge (D) into the slots (C) of the start inhibit switch as shown in the figure.

9. Tighten the starter inhibit switch bolts, then remove the probe and connect the connector.

11. Turn on the ignition and make sure that the "N" position indicator of the automatic transmission selector is lit. Move the selector to each position and make sure that the indicator readings correspond to the selector position.



12. Make sure that the engine can only be started with the selector lever in position "P" or "N".

13. Make sure that the reversing lights only come on when the selector lever is in the "R" position.
