Removal and installation
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Lower the front door window completely.
3. (Hatchback) Carefully remove the side rearview mirror inner trim.
4. (Hatchback) Remove the front door trim panel (see section "Front door").
5. (Hatchback) Disconnect the connector, then disconnect the wire retainer. Loosen the nuts and remove the side rearview mirror.
Tightening torque - 5 Nm
6. (Sedan) Carefully remove the side rearview mirror inner trim.
7. Disconnect the connector.
8. Unscrew the nuts.
Tightening torque - 5 Nm
9. Disconnect the connector retainer and remove the side rearview mirror.
10. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Removal and installation mirror glass
1. Using a screwdriver, lift the holder and disconnect it from the pin. Then carefully slide the locking ring onto the pin and use a screwdriver to disconnect the retainer.
2. Using a screwdriver, detach the mirror glass from the holders as shown in the figure.
3. Disconnect the side rearview mirror heater connector.
4. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Before installation, apply grease as shown in the figure.
