Lock latch
1. Open the trunk lid and trace the latch with a marker to make it easier to reinstall.
2. Remove the bolt and nut securing the lock latch (see accompanying illustration).
3. Remove the latch and disconnect the drive cable and electrical wiring (see accompanying illustration).
4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Lock cylinder
1. Open the trunk. Disconnect the drive cable from the lock cylinder through a special hole in the lid.
2. Turn the lock cylinder 90° counterclockwise to align the locking tabs with the corresponding grooves. Pull the cylinder towards you to remove it from the trunk lid.
3. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Lid stops
1. Lift the trunk lid and securely lock it in the open position.
2. After unscrewing the two mounting bolts, disconnect the upper end of the stop.
3. Using a small screwdriver, pry off the decorative cover, then unscrew the bolt securing the lower end of the stop and remove the latter from the car.
4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
